Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice

1. Operator

TellBot is operated by a Swiss-based sole proprietor. It is intended for personal, lawful use by users globally.

2. Use of the App

You may use the App for non-commercial purposes only. You must not misuse the App, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or input unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.

3. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, features, and branding, is the property of the operator or its licensors. Unauthorized copying or redistribution is prohibited.

4. Privacy & Data Handling

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and minimize data use to the greatest extent possible. This privacy policy outlines what is and isn't collected:

• No Personal Data Collected: We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, device IDs, or location data.
• No Login Required: You can use TellBot without creating an account.
• Temporary Input Storage: Your text input is processed briefly to generate a translation and then discarded. We do not retain or reuse it.
• No Ads or Profiling: We do not show ads or track user behavior.

Third-Party Services Used:

• OpenAI API (for translations)
• Google Firebase (for backend functions)
• RevenueCat (for subscription management)

These services may process limited technical data necessary for functionality, but TellBot does not store or analyze this data.

We are committed to complying with Swiss privacy law and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since no identifiable data is stored or processed, user rights under GDPR (e.g. access or deletion requests) are generally not applicable - but you may still contact us with any concerns.

5. Subscriptions

In-app purchases are handled by your app store and RevenueCat. Subscription pricing, renewals, and cancellations are subject to those platforms' terms.

6. No Warranty

Translations are provided "as is." We do not guarantee accuracy or continuous availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any losses or damages arising from use of the App.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use of the App means you accept any updates.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be handled by the courts of the operator's place of residence in Switzerland.
